Like most things, the watch has developed a lost since its appearance on the market. This is the reason why the watch market is now so full of various choices. The first watches intended for men were the pocket watches. But while they were wearing them as such, women wore then around their neck. After the war ended they no longer returned to the pocket watch and wore the wrist watches that they have created. With the invention of the quartz mechanism, the analog mechanism and the LED display, the history of the watch changed all together.

In the past only rich people and royalties could afford to buy and to wear watches. However, in our days almost all of us owns and wears a watch. But people back then soon realized that improvements had to be made especially after the collision of two trains due to bad timing. This however, is no longer a problem for us. So, the watchmakers have started to look into inventing some other features for watches.
